The Mexican ambassador to Chile, Ms Laura Moreno Rodríguez, proposed at the University of Los Lagos that bilateral cooperation in public education and scientific research be strengthened. The plan includes promoting student mobility and establishing a branch of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in Chile to advance technological decentralization. Ambassador Moreno said that technological development and innovation are very important for Mexico, so that they are promoting ongoing interaction with different countries and their universities, such as Ulagos, which is recognized for its public role in Higher Education.
