This accredited Program focuses on generating knowledge that will contribute to the critical analysis of human development processes in societies located in differentially globalized territories. In this program the articulation of disciplinary fields, such as sociology, geography, anthropology, political science and history, is proposed, based on a central concern the configuration of territories, understood as interactinglocalized social aggregates,with differentiating institutionalities,production structures and identities.

This program offers a consolidated and focused option to increase and strengthen scientific and technological capacities required to meet the standards of sustainable development in today’s society. The program aims to contribute towards training scientists to advanced level with a marked emphasis on the applied sciences, based on a rigorous and actualized theoretical formation in ecology, conservation biology, resource management and other affiliated disciplines.

This program aims to train specialists to advanced-level in the fields of mathematics, education and psycho-social behavioral sciences that interact at different levels within the educational system. Graduates will be capable of resolving problems associated with the generation and application of knowledge in the field of educational mathematics in Universities, public and prívate educational establishments and Research Centers.
