Master programs
The Master’s Program in Education is of a professional nature. From this, it seeks the understanding of educational phenomena and its intervention, focused on improving academic context. Its main purpose is to train postgraduates who intervene in their educational environment, through critical observation on the emerge challenges from the different territories in which educational institutions and social demands are inserted, in order to innovate teaching practices to contribute to the improvement of educational institutions, based on values such as inclusion, quality, gender equality and social justice.

The Master’s Program in Government and Public Policy Management is of a professional nature, which comes from the Department of Government and Enterprise and the Center for Regional Development and Public Policy Studies (CEDER), to respond to the specialization in high necessities in the public sector, promoted by these academic institutions.

This program aims to train professionals capable of creatively analyzing health-related problems by adopting a global vision that evaluates the social and political context of the territory from a scientific perspective. By focusing on the historical aspects of healthcare in Chile and Latin America, graduate will be possible to adopt multidisciplinary approach to collective health in the southern Austral macro zone.

The aim of this disciplinary Master degree program is to train professionals to an advanced level in the management of renewable natural resources, with the capacity to undertake basic and applied research and to teach disciplines at tertiary education level.

This program aims to train human capital with comprehension, research and application capacities that will contribute to the theoretical and practical analysis of present and emerging problematic issues related to regional and local societies. Formation is articulated around the thematic concepts of globalization and regional economy; identity and regional cultural processes, local and regional development, environment and development, decentralization and territorial governance and epistemology of social sciences.

This accredited program focuses on three basic aspects: thinking and ideas, State model and the territorial impact of this model. In other words, the ideas that allow the construction of the State and how this modifies territory. 

The master program in Mathematics Education trains specialists in aspects that interact among the disciplines of mathematics, education and psycho-social behavioral sciences at different levels of the educational system.
