Marina Rosenberg is the first woman ambassador of Israel to Chile, a fact that the diplomat highlighted as an achievement when she met with academics and managers from the Universidad de Los Lagos, on the Puerto Montt Campus.
During her first visit to regions, the ambassador was at the state university to explore collaboration in strategic areas such as water, agriculture and innovation issues and its impact on the territories and their populations. “Israel is a world leader in the area of water saving management and education and we think that is an area in which we can contribute,” said Marina Rosenberg.
On behalf of the Universidad de Los Lagos, Juan Carlos Gallardo, professional of liaison with the environment and coordinator of the visit, thanked the ambassador for her visit and noted the interest in translating a collaboration agreement into lines of work associated with water management, technology and innovation, In order to promote research and teaching at the Universidad de Los Lagos.
